Temptingly Delicious

Like almonds swirled in honey
and left to brew all night long,
Like strawberries dipped in chocolate
and consumed before dawn comes,
Like the sweetness of a macaroon
best eaten when it’s warm,
the breath you breathe,
the words you speak,
your eyes that blink,
the thoughts you think,
your exposed nape,
your glistening lips
the touch of your hair
on my finger tips.
Don’t pull away now,
I know you know,
this awesome sound
is just my flow,
of lyrics that are true and precious,
for you my friend, so
temptingly delicious.

A creative nut with endless possibilities to offer the world. Just need to start with one possibility - my words.
