The Same Thing

Forgive me,
but I can’t help myself.
Iv’e said it before and I’ll say it again.
I’m a black and white girl,
I despise shades of grey,
but it’s something I’m forced to embrace,
but I hate.

The middle ground,
the murky mud,
the riddle me this,
just get things solved.
But how can I when your sign says this,
then you say that,
what is the real fact?

Should I give you my referral
or drop it in the box,
just let me know please,
because I’m in tight a spot.

I don’t want to be here all day you know,
I’ve got other things to do,
like study and write poetry,
if only you knew.

So help me out this once,
and make things just so clear,
the nurse said put this in the box,
but the sign says give it here.

The secretary looked up from her stack of papers,
quite a lot to bring,
and said the instructions which you have received                                                                                       are one and the same thing.

A creative nut with endless possibilities to offer the world. Just need to start with one possibility - my words.
