Frozen

I am frozen at the thought of the words I spoke,
His silence confirms, my words were cold
I hang my head in shame, at the pain I have caused,
He did nothing to deserve, this callousness of heart.
I softly touch his knitted brows, begging him to forgive,
To help me change the atmosphere
And once again to live
