Dangerous Waters

Dangerous waters in which sharks fear to swim,
where lightning strikes twice and current runs deep,
like emotions set ablaze to captivate a dormant soul,
the mind set free once again to feel and share the untold.
Don’t fight the fear that tugs the heart,
embrace the change and make a new start,
leaving yesterdays hurts and pains in the past,
and choosing to move forward, to a future,
better and greater by far.

With nerves of steel
she made the deal
to trust in God,
just watch Him lead.
For time and space
are His alone,
the earth His foot stool,
the heaven, His throne.

No need to fear
what lies ahead,
God will not cheat
so take His hand,
and watch the miracle
of life unfold,
for where we’ll be
only God He knows.
