2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog and I have chosen to share it with you.

THANK YOU ALL for making this blog active, alive and possible. God bless you all.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 710 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 12 trips to carry that many people.

Social Incongruity

He held my attention with lengthy conversations

just the way I like it,

but much to my destruction.

I was behind enemy lines,

lost the peace once defined,

but only for a time,

because I didn’t lose my mind.

I got off my high horse,

got my head from out the clouds,

rolled up my sleeves and dug in deep,

willed myself not to sleep,

pressed beyond the foggy sheet

of love that sought to make me weep.

I found my way back to my senses,

this is the place I best remain,

to grow and build a solid base,

without frills or strings

and such attachments

but with the real thing,

that’s what I bring.
